There is a community bulletin board at the Greens that carries all the local events and news. How wonderful and a refreshing change from our tech-driven lives. The public library and book shops are worth visiting. Both are close to the Green.

A Living farm

You can visit a live working farm – the Billings Farm and Museum is a peek into farming life. You can take a look at the history of farming at the museum and take a wagon ride!

If you are here on a Wednesday, lucky you! The Farmers Market sells fresh produce, food and even some crafts which you can enjoy listening to live music.

Glass-blowing, maple syrup-making, breweries and biking are other programs and activities to keep you busy. Rockefeller National Park is close by and has some really good trails.

Covered wooden bridges from a century ago still exist!

Do visit the covered bridge in Woodstock if you’re into such things! Middle Covered Bridge is near the Green. People love to take photos there.
