Rodeo in Jackson Hole
Have you been to the rodeo? If not, get ready for a wild and fun time! Imagine wild broncos, bulls and cowboys together in one arena! Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of the last holds out of the bygone wild, wild west! And the rodeo is a tradition dating back a hundred years.
Therefore, you will find this a uniquely American experience. Cowboys and cowgirls holding on with the most amazing effort to bucking animals! The kids participating in the sheep scramble are the cutest!
So, take your seats by 8 pm and the show goes on till 10 pm. Make sure to take appropriate clothing in case it gets cold. The show will go on rain or snow. Food is available in concession stands.
Skiing
Jackson Hole is also known for its skiing. As some of the best skiing slopes in the world are right here in this old west town. Remember, dress appropriately for the cold winter weather. Another fun activity in winter is snowboarding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
With Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park so close by, stop to take a day or two in Jackson Hole and enjoy the wild west.
If you like bicycling, trekking or fishing, you can do all of these here. Golfers can try the tees at the Golf Course. The high altitude is supposed to make your ball go further, therefore, it will be satisfying to golf here!
As in other places, there are cabins, camping grounds, hotels and even ranches to stay at. Since they are popular, do book early, because every place will be booked in advance during the busy seasons.
